As I already said, this mission is probably my faourite, I really like Pepper(1:25 till 1:30, 3:00) , his costume, and how he sneaks around, kinda similar to Splinter Cell which I love.
I really think GRFS is looking better and better, especially with the emphasis on stealth rather than action, and not to mention I really like the Armed Unite UAV, It will be really useful.

all this communication equipment is good don't get me wrong Mack puts it perfectly "Knowledge is power" But i get the feeling all these gadgets and gizmos are making the need to actually talk to one another obsolete. the the cross-com and mark and execute system should be a minor crutch that is fine on its own but to make it truly effective the players must communicate with their headsets.
i get the feeling you wont even need to turn your headsets on in future soldier
I'm still on the fence with the drones. I see there use but I dont really think a converting drone that is perfectly silent on land or int he air is possible just yet

All the missions are looking really varied which is good, the campaign looks like its going to be amazing. unsure about the armed UAV though, it seems a little cheap, hopefully it only carries a few rounds.

I really was doubting how good GR would be, but after seeing these and other videos, I'm super excited. I've been a loyal fan since 2003 when I was playing Ghost Recon Island Thunder on the 1st xbox, and have played every game GR has came out with. This game looks great and I can't wait to play the beta once it is released, and then play competitively on this franchise again!

you saw Pepper and the map he was operating kinda alone, that may help build up communication, you know if everyone attacks from a different direction, and you need a sniper support or something, you will need to work together or something, I think.
The communication would enhance the tag em and bag em feature (god it got so many names), especially when there are more than 4 enemies, say 6 or something, that would be neat.
As for the drones, I agree with ya yet I kinda got around it, I mean there is no escaping it now, what I hope for though, is counter measures, I wish some levels have strict counter measures.
It remain to be seen how will the MP be like in sense of communication and team work, I guess we will find out soon

Hey thanks for video Sameer. Long time no see.
About GRFS. Game looks awesome and I can't find any complains. Except one - game feels like SWAT-4 because every mission in gameplays that we have seen have the same objectives - rescue the hostage. It's not like the GR I used to play.

Love the direction of the game. Not so sure about the armed UAV.
Love the fact they mentioned winning, not always fighting.
Puts a emphasis on the tactical gameplay they are trying to achieve.

My only complaint is the invisibility suit. it never ceases to look absolutely ridiculous out there
Other than that, it's coming along nicely. so far i'm seeing good mission variety, nice layouts, and a decent blend of tactics and shootouts. Hopefully the campaign has an interesting story and there's a hardcore mode that strips much of the cheap stuff

Nice that it's not only outdoors, but the ghosts also enter buildings in conviction style, seperately and quietly..that brings so much variety to the table.. It has to make the game a lot tougher..i hope there is a hardcore mode, so bad..
btw, can't wait for the a new splintercell to..hope it's fully co-op.. those modes were sick..

Yeah one of the big things is difficulty. I want there to be hardcore modes where you really have to think tactically about how you approach give objectives so it makes the game much much harder. The game is looking great it just needs that real challenge factor.

Haha, I just preordered this game yesterday and then today I hear about a UAV that can kill people.
No thanks, I already hate the MAV in bf3... and in bf3 there aren't any no respawn modes to make it extremely infuriating. Unless there's some news about it not being in multiplayer at all, I'm going to have to switch the preorder around. That is just a horrible idea.

An invisible ARMED UAV? yeah...this is going from 'Cutting Edge Warriors' to '@sshole Troll-soldiers' real quick.
On a positive note:
the emphasis on stealth and recon....tres bien!
and the map sized look pretty good..some nice exploration there.

maybe I am missing something, but no one said that the Armed UAV is invisible, I think it can be seen and shot down, also I think it will have only one bullet or something, making using it special.
@NG4: well there are a mix of missions, like the Russian's forest where we get intel, the Peshawar mission where you track a weapon dealer, so no worries, it got some cool mix of missions.

In a lot of the videos the Drone gets real close to the enemy...too close. So the UAV might not be invisible but the enemies are blind...maybe so for the purpose of showing off the video. Also I think there are two types of drones...theres the quadrotor which converts into the ground drone and there is a Tri-rotor UAV which is smaller and possibly stealthier for in-house recon.

yeah, you totally got a point, but as you said that's probably for showing, being played on easy maybe ?!, also remember Peshawar level ?!, The armored vehicle was shooting at the UAV, also there seem to be a range where the UAV function, beyond that you may loose it, yet yeah as you said it remains to be seen if on hard enemies will be able to detect the drone or not, same with cameo.
I also hope there more drones kind, and more gadgets, It is one of the very cool things about GRFS IMO, I got excited once I saw a new type of drone (Tri-rotor UAV).

What is this game. The more I see footage the more I see Deus Ex, Gears of War, Metal gear solid. What I don't see is Ghost Recon.

How do they handle upgrading your suit powers?

How do they handle upgrading your suit powers?
What suit powers can even be upgraded? I haven't heard anything about perks or anything and the augmented reality is baseline for everyone. Scouts get the invisibility cloak as part of their class, I think the upgrades are different gadgets, weapons, attachments and tools. We honestly know the least about the MP portion of the game, especially how in depth the unlock system is.
EDIT: I'm watching a video on the gunsmith weapon customization they have, and the weapon paints are unlocked by doing "challenges" whatever that means.
There seems to be a heartbeat sensor you can put on your weapon too, hopefully that isn't too powerful.
Ouch, LMG's have incendiary ammo that does splash damage.
I'm pretty much seeing every complaint in BF3 come back in force in GRFS. Overuse of sensors in bf3 meet heartbeat sensor, MAV bowlers meet UAV snipers, and incendiary LMG ammo meet USAS w/ frag rounds.

"luckily he was carrying critical information on everyone inside the building."
Well ****, isn't that convenient.
[Insurgent Captain]:
"Ok guys, split into teams of two. You two, guard the entrance. You two, up on the roof. You, guard the hostage and you, take this very detailed document on our numbers, locations, our equipment, and patrol routes.
Ok, let's go."
