This footage was taken Wednesday throughout the period that the server was online.
So if you were on during that time you may see yourself somewhere in here, if not in my scope :cool:

On a side-note I will give a free cookie to whoever counts the exact number headshots in this video.
There are a few normal kills and some took two shots so you will have to pay attention. ;)

This confirms it for me; the Recon class is a whole bunch of cheese.
Zero scope sway with deadly accuracy and awesome unscoped accuracy.
I already thought it was bad enough that sniper rifles are generally given a high one-shot-kill potential in games but with these added factors, GRO has a gross sniper class that's just as cheesy as Call of Duty. But at least in Call of Duty other weapons have great accuracy to counter this.

He may have been getting kills, but he didn't do anything out of the ordinary and he was almost never capturing a point. I don't see what the big deal is. Snipers don't actually help the team, they just get a few kills here and there.

I will say as a Recon I am very active when it comes to objectives and providing cover for my team, throughout the video you can see I am in the front lines moving with my team unlike most Recon players. Also, there were many clips where headshots weren't registered and whenever anyone got close I was dead 75% of the time. I did go overboard with this video but no I am not high on myself I just really enjoy this game :D

Yea sorry. I understand the fine line between being excited and being an a$$. You are just excited about this game just like me! To be fair I didn't watch much of the video. But from your description you play like I wish all of us RECON's played. We get a bad rap for all those who just sit around and don't realize this is a team game. :cool:

Right on man, exactly, I wouldn't play it any other way. And yea if you've seen like 30 seconds of it you've seen the whole video basically haha. Others shouldn't be complaining about this class, it is realistic, snipers may have your face in the distance but the assaults/specialists got us in the short-medium distance. It's a matter of team balancing, equal amount of classes and skill.

The most effective recon I've seen so far uses the sr-25, with a vertical foregrip and a red dot. It's like a semi auto assault rifle with tremendous stopping power. Combined with the cloak, this would be a devastating combo.

tbh recons/snipers usually do sit at the back lol nothing wrong with that unless they dont actually do anything, team based as long as the recon is calling the shouts out to where ppl are its better than shooting and giving ur spot up and letting ur team clean up and advance while u give them the support they need eyes and ears all in all nice montage though but imo i think there should be a limit to how many recons are assigned to each 8 man group because its really tiring and hard to play with 7 recons on a team its just asking to play CoD all over lol

The SR-25 I will remember that, I was thinking about switching to an SMG but I will try this out first thanks.
