I know I am going off of a Demo (A beta can be classified as a demo.), But to be honest. I like it. And many people do too. That alone should be a sign of relief to you guy's at Ubisoft. The game is a lot of fun, Competitive, Fast pace and the overall feel of excitement and thrill of working as a team. And to be honest. I tried, I really REALLY tried to participate. My computer maybe generic. But I played games that are in higher demands in Specs then Ghost Recon Online. Yet, I lag. That one Moscow Map I played before when I experienced no lag was a fluke. It could be the fact that I am using Skype while I play. That could be a major factor why. But even with out it. I lag. It is very difficult to describe whats wrong. I have talked to many Mods and or Admins about the issue. And to be honest. I don't know what is the major issue. At first I thought it was the Server Lag. But if it truly where the server lag. Wouldn't I be seeing people popping back and forth? Even me? No one else experience lag except me. I sent my DxDiag to you guy's. One of the mods said that my video card isn't compatible with the game. One of the video card supports where ATI 3000 HD series. I got a 3100 HD series. What is the problem? my video card is off by six Megabytes. If it really where to be the main cause, I am screwed. But here is the weird part. I have the game on low settings. Hell it can run on a decent frame rate on Medium. While on low, I have no problems selecting my equipment. My character is moving around with no lag. Perfect frame rate in the main menu. While I am in a match. That's where it goes downhill. As soon as I start running with my team mates. Having fun. Lag out of nowhere to the point of unplayable at least to me. Picture it this way. Your running cover to cover. As soon as you get into cover. It starts to lag. Frame rate just does a nose dive, I would get one frame rate every several seconds. Whats the worst part is that when I do lag, Either I am already dead, Or about to be killed, Or my character pops out of cover and stands up. Pretty much saying to the enemy "Oi, Shoot me first here! I am the Cannon Fodder!" its highly upsetting for me. The first time I joined, Day one of the start of the beta. No lag. But why am I lagging now? Here's the kicker. When the lag clears up for me. It is perfect frame rate for a minute. Then lag yet again. If it truly where not compatible. I would be lagging continuously wouldn't I? Again, I have tried multiple times to participate. I spent several hours in the public chat discussing what could be the problem. Even giving information about the ISP, Bandwith, etc. If there will be no support for lesser video cards, I guess I am out of the game until either I get a new laptop which is hellishly expensive. Or wait until the Wii U version comes out. And that could take a while. By the time this is fully released, I will be missing out a lot. Shame really. This was an awesome experience. A year and a half waiting to participate. Only to find out I can't play it. I am going to try this one more time. And I really hope this clears up. The bad part is I will be gone next week for a while. I wont be participating in the Second Phase. Ill be back early April I guess. Okay, Time to test this out before giving it a final verdict. If the problem persist. I have to wait to see in the final release. If not. Then ill be getting it for the Wii U. I will update again in a few hours.
