Error started when I had the bright idea to delete the entire hidden directory pointed to by PsychGod on post number 2 from this thread: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/661736-NET-3-5-SP1-is-installed-but trying to restart the download process (I accidentally pointed the downloader/installer to install on an external drive, rather than a internal data partition).

I know, stupid. I should have asked how to repoint the download/installation directory before I deleted anything. Now the launcher.application is refusing the restart the download process at all (prolly due to the fact I wiped that hidden directory off of my computer).

Anyway to fix this? Sorry for the headache.

Download a new copy of the launcher and try to launch from there. it should extract to a new temporary hidden folder somewhere and start a new installation ID. If you have any trouble with that, please send a ticket into support here: http://bit.ly/yWpti0

Thanks, I'll download a new copy of that launcher and try that. If that fails, I'll contact support.
