So seems most other people have fix'd their launcher issues. But alass I have yet to find any of the ways people have fix'd their launchers to have worked. I at least was able to install the game by going into the GRO folder and using the p2p file to get it and then copy the finished file over.
Using the Launcher in admin mode does not work.
running windows 7 with .netframe 3.5 sp1 as on. I have IE9 on my system as well.
made sure to put the game into window mode via the GRO file for the screen settings.
Don't have Crossfire so can't turn it off despite having a Radeon HD 5670. The drivers are updated as well. Same with DirectX, I have 11 but I also made sure 9 was fully updated as well.
The last thing I am working on as an issue is the fact that I can't access my firewall from a root file that I am working on removing. I'm hoping that is the final thing that is causing the issue.
My system meets all technical requirements for the game but it will never load the launcher, or the game it's self when I bypass it. Just always a blank screen and no noise. Again hoping that it's simply that root file stopping my firewall.
Lastly, anyone else have a root file that was stopping them? also if you had issues and fix'd them please post here so we can just have them all grouped together for the closed beta forum.
