The patch broke master events.

Unless this glitch was here before the patch anyway...luckily, there's a workaround.

I just went to play a 4-song master event to try to get my last two secret songs now that the points glitch is gone. But two of my songs (Angela and In Bloom) both showed up as not qualified even though I had well over 200k points on each. So I start In Bloom to get the 150k qualifier points, but it doesn't play as a master mode song which makes it impossible to reach 150k. Same story with Angela, I tried deleting and re-adding them but it didn't work.

The workaround is to just put any un-mastered song in the setlist to bring the qualifiers down to 90k. Then qualify the songs that need it and remove the un-mastered song and it will go back to a master event with all the songs qualified. Pretty annoying glitch, but at least I was able to unlock the bonus songs without starting over from the beginning.

Has anyone else run into this yet?

yup saw this today, i had an 8 song set where i had 7 in MM already so i just replaced the one that wasn't with one I had and bamo! 150k to qualify two songs that i already unlocked master mode for. one was high and dry combo, which always makes me quailfy it for some reason and the other I can't seem to recall. great job Ubi, you guys not only didn't give us what we asked for in the patch and failed to fix a huge glitch involving dlc on xbox but your patch has created yet another glitch... good job, you guys should run for congress.

The other work around is to just go through the songs menu and play the songs in master mode again.

This actually happened to me before the patch too... A couple of times I'd have a song that I previously had over 150k that would show up as needing to be re-qualified for a master mode encore for some reason... But with the patch it seems like this is happening way more often than before. So I think there is a difference here somewhere.

At first I thought it was intentional because they didn't want you playing the same song over again in the event, but maybe it is a bug.

I've noticed this also, oddly it seems to happen more often on the Xbox than the PS3 though but it still happens on both consoles. I couldn't get why I'd have to qualify a song I have mastered. To me that makes no sense at all.
