Is there a reason why you are not using the official forums for these games or have you all bedded down in the unofficial forums here > http://acreedrecollection.proboards.com/index.cgi
just wondering if it did actually take too long for these forums to arise and most people have found other mediums to discuss the game?
EDIT: after posting I notice that this forum is now only called mobile forum, which could explain why noone is finding this when searching for recollection forums.......

In case ANYONE at Ubi is looking at this, the reasons are quite simple. And this would be a great test to see whether ANYONE at Ubi cares enough about the community beyond giving people a nicely "skinned" new forum. I swear this "upgrade" didn't really help anything except make me have to sit closer due to the tiny *** font size now...
1) This forum is "Assassin's Creed Mobile". Great. It is also described as the forum for Recollection and Rearmed. I don't think Recollection players want to be bogged down with Rearmed crap and vice versa.
2) Too late. Way too late. The game launches to a crap single thread. Promises are made to improve. So you shove Recollection and Rearmed together.
3) No official representation - one reason people might look up official channels is to hear something from the source. Ooops noone's here. Not a single dev, not even UbiGabe. Who I'm sure is not one person and is super busy minding everything and everywhere else.
4) No incentive. If you even go with the lamest of call to actions you'll get some people here. Get 100 animus points if you something. Or something. Nope nothing.
5) No leadership. Forums just like any other organisation, needs someone to start it. Having a "space" doesn't start nothing.
6) No app - We have a proboards app, so it's much easier to browse on ipad :) Not that we're expecting an app when there's not even a mod (MCMoonbunny or whatever has 10 posts. Probably just a bot)
7) Etc etc etc. I hope someone is listening, and I hope someone cares. Cos I was giving valuable input that would cost clients cash money :)

Hi guys,
The forum is called 'mobile' since we are expecting that there will be a lot more games to come for both iPhone / Android and iPad / tablet - if you know of anyone who is missing it, please sign post them here :)
There was a redirect from the Main AC forums here for some time, so hopefully people know it is here - however the traffic seen for the titles in the old forums, was low towards christmas time, so hopefully players will return.
The forums are still undergoing the odd tweak - and we are expecting the forum themes to be completed soon - which should help you guys feel more at home.
As to no content - I am sure once the team have one updates / news for you - they will start the ball rolling, this forum was asked for by your guys, so please continue to use it.
Moderators - there is a team of global moderators, who do look after this forum, as well as dedicated forum staff - such as myself, so don't feel all alone, we are here :)
If you spot any posts that need looking at - please report them using the forum tools available to you.
I will see if I can get someone from the Dev team to pop in and say hello :)

Tuism is quite upset, but as a regular poster over at the other site my reasons are quite simple:
The other site was there first.
It has a lot of content and is organized to cover many different topics and has a dedicated group of posters, so I don't really see any reason to migrate here. I do check in to see if things picked up here from time to time.

WOw, tuism is a little upset. Some valid points there.

Erm, to put in a fair word, your post does not seem to answer Tuism's queries.
I like an official forum like this one. Devs can post updates/news, etc. That's great. But....
Some points:
1. Tusim is right about the forum's scope. Too wide and not focused. Why do I wanna be confused with other mobile Assassin's Creed mobile games' posts? I'll have to sieve through a lot of threads to read things I am interested in, ie. ACR.
2. The unofficial forum is nicely divided into many sub-boards/specific discussions. And it's being constantly improved, updated, growing and lotsa contributions from players.
When the unofficial forum was created, one of it's goals was to compliment and supplement the 'official forum'. It wasn't meant to 'fight' for forum users/participation. Right now, what I am looking forward to here is simply updates/news/support from Devs. If I need anything else, the community at the unofficial forum helps me out, there is no incentive to post here.
Just my 2 cents. By the way, love ACR. So does Tusim. His post might sound like a rant, but a lot of points make sense.

This forum is pretty dead.
2 days in and no official response to my post.
Sigh.
I'll just drop by occasionally to check out the updates/news from devs.

Well I have to have some time off - I didn't work the last weekend, so sorry I didn't reply sooner.
The forum is an ongoing project - if there is need to dedicate more space or make dedicated forums for certain games, it will happen.
It may need people to support the forum for that to happen though, so it's important to remember, but the forum is in flux, so we can change things, if the demand is there.
As I said, the dev team are working on content and other interesting things, which hopefully will gain and keep peoples attentions.
Hopefully these forums will be used for more than just reference, it would be a shame to see them die and be removed, after they have only just been asked for.

people needs to be attracted to come here first before they can give their support.

Hmmm that's strange that I sounded upset, having read over my comments I did really sound upset. Ha, but I'm not really throbbing veins or anything, I just want stuff that works for the people rather than against them.
Like Raph said, I was never trying to fight an official forum or anything like that. I want an official forum! But I most of all want something that worked.
Just asking people to come, even if you're official, isn't a good enough reason. Can you imagine if ACRB decided to move all the content here? There's not even a remote chance of it working out cos its not organized.
Creating a AC mobile forum and saying its what the players asked for is just plain bureaucracy. AC mobile is how your company is arranging your product line, recollection is what we play. Rearmed is what rearmed players play.
You wanna see what the people asked for? Look at our forums, see what people respond to.
It's not about you having time on or off or anything, people aren't going to post because you ask them every day. You have to give them the right structure and an incentive.
I tried to create the community in Facebook and it failed, because people don't like being there. Not because i didnt post enough, not because it was a bad medium. So I stopped bothering with that and went where the people were comfortable. And that's what we've worked together to create there.
It certainly would be a shame if Recollection has no official representation, but it would be a bigger shame if people had to fall in line and post deck ideas next to how the new map for Rearmed was released next to new card ideas.
Btw Mr_shade, no offense intended, but do you even play Recollection? Who do you think the community wants to talk to, people who know the game, or not? If you can't be the person who knows, then you need to provide someone who does. Respected, hopefully.
You say you guys are working on content and stuff... Well, I look forward to something. Maybe you can at least get a change log for the upcoming update. Sooner rather than later.

And while I understand your, mr_shade's bureaucratic plight, that you can't find content, that you cant just wave your hand and change the Ubisoft forums as you or anyone else feels like, that you probably don't understand the gme enough to create your own content, you have to understand that it's not an opposition between th unofficial board and the official forums.
Your job isn't to get people to use this forum, it's to provide an enabling environment for the promotion offend information of the games Ubi has out out, in this case Recollection.
Think about it that way, please :)

Just so you're aware..
I'm a Forum Manager - my main concern is the day to day running of the forum - I do not have direct input in creating content, or talking about the game - that is either the Community Developers role, or Community Manager - I do though suggest things which are needed - which I already have done.
People seem to be confusing the role I play here, so it's best I put people straight - my job IS to encourage people to use these forums constructively - it's not to make content, I ask for and populate the forums with content that the community want - or need, but that content comes from the Dev team ;)
I have played the game, but I don't think you really want to talk to me about tactics etc - when you can be talking to the people who wrote it ?
Re the forum's creation - the game did not have a forum at launch, it was asked for by the community - that is a fact, since I was one of the people who suggested it to the team - I am one of the Assassin's Creed forum managers, so we do have a bit of input.
Previously - if you were around at game launch, you would have seen that there was only a single thread, in the main Assassin's Creed forum.
After many requests, it was decided to create this forum, when we moved to the new software.
Many smaller titles, released on main consoles, do not get a forum, so it is something you should be proud of gaining, even if you have to share with other titles in the series. Sharing forums, which has been done on many other titles, does sometimes produce benefits, such as meeting new players - or sharing common interests.
The Forums are about community - so we do not like to segregate groups unless it's really needed.
No one is suggesting there is a fight between this and any other unofficial forum - I was simply pointing out my hope that people will use this one, once content is here, since it was created for the community.
I have said many times that content is being created - which it is - you as with anyone, are free to post where you like.
When that content is ready, you may well see more interactions from the Dev Team - since they are keen to build the community further on the official site ;)
End of the day - new content is coming - if you decide to use the forums, that's unto you - I am just explaining why the forums are empty at the moment, so please do not shoot the messenger!

Well, I hope to see the Community Manager, Community Devs here soon to discuss interesting things like what was their inspiration for the game; how they designed the AI decks, can we expect more AI campaigns, what we can expect in the future, number of cards in expansion, etc.

Sorry, my apologies, I was mistaking the job of Ubisoft as a whole with yours... Indeed you are tasked with managing the Ubi forums and that's got no jurisdiction or power over content creation or community building, or even promotion.
So I guess yes, you've done all you're tasked to do, my frustration was then directed at Ubisoft at large, you just happen to be standing in the line of (friendly?) fire :)
Indeed the Recollection community asked for a forum I was there. And indeed we got something... Whether it's what we asked for is debatable. (If I asked to join Alcoholics Anonymous and got sent to a room to listen to traffic accident and murder victims I'd not really be happy)
However with the right content (dev discussions and news) this forum doesn't need to have anything like ACRB, which talks about game mechanics and daily tactics, so I rest my case, if and when that content becomes reality, we will still be around :)
Until that content comes, there's really no point asking "why are you guys not posting here?".
Looking forward to more news... Really like to know what bugs have been fixed in the upcoming update :) hint hint hint :)

I'm not one person? Man, that would be AWESOME!
But seriously... Shade has been hounding us for content, and truth be told, we were hoping to have more robust content available here for the launch of these forums (seriously, you should see my initial content plan for this action, it was LIMITLESS!). Of course, plans being what they are, this one is taking a bit longer.
Hopefully, we'll be able to get UbiDiiLite in here with some FAQs and updates about upcoming content very soon. We'll also see if we can get some posts directly from the developers, although, that may take a little while as well since they're working pretty hard right now.

Well thanks for your attention over yonder here, I'm sure the devs are hard at work, the new update is spectacular :)
Although a definitive change list would be great right about now, we remain patient for official content from official sources :)
In the meantime, we're all gonna go rebuild our decks to the new metagame :P
Ta :)
