Single Player Target Lock On

Am I the only one that when playing single player (Yes, I've played every AC for my ps3, and have all of them in fact) that it seems that the multi-player version just has such a better lock on? I mean, holding L1 to zoom in and personally select your target makes sense rather than having to be super close to them. I just have always found it weird that I have to be roughly 20 feet from a target to shoot them with a crossbow.. doesn't seem very... subtle if you ask me :>

It would be nice if they add this into single player for AC3, if not *shrug* :(

Note: Please keep it clean, and no "multiplayer ruined ac series1!!1!" either.

I totally agree. After playing nothing but MP the couple of months before the release of ACR, I was so frustrated by the locking system when I finally started playing SP again. For AC3, I hope Ubisoft brings some of the good elements of MP into SP and vice versa. How awesome wouldn't it be with crowd reactions in MP....
