This is my first movie, called "Spread Your Love". There is no story involved, it's a simple action movie set to music. I think it came out ok. Please check it out and let me know what you think.

Thank you for your kind words. I have seen many fine movies made by the people in this forum, and I've been blown away by the the planning, execution and detail of these movie makers. I could not hope to compete with some of the epic movies I've seen here, so I chose to make a simple action film to show off some of the graphics and effects that il2/pf offers, as well as how fun it can be (to people who are unfamiliar with it)

Very well done action flick! Nice and smooth with no framrate stutters, great picture quality, excellent shots and angles of the action, maybe a bit too much use of the F6 view (I think that's the one... external enemy track). Could have probably faded out the music at the end rather then let it play for another 3 minutes or so after the end of the video, but it was nice to hear the whole song.

Good job!

Agree with all the points MrVH made, nice effort, and really like the picture quaility. With regards to the music, i am not normally one for anything else but classic music or Movie sound tracks in an IL2 Movies, but i think you got it right for your movie, nice track.

Good first effort, keep it going http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I agree here also. Great shots and smooth filming, great to show off newcomers to this game. I am also a classic/movie soundtrack guy with IL2 movies but also enjoyed the music so much that I am looking to purchase the band's CD! Great work. Can't wait to see a movie with a story from you.

Thanks, that was my favorite shot too. The Fiat ran out of steam just as I did, and I just managed to keep him in my sites as I stalled. I probably couldn't duplicate that shot in a million years, lol.

Thanks to all for the friendly and constructive comments. Watching it now, I agree with MrVH too. I posted the movie as soon as I finished it, and it might have been a good idea to sleep on it a couple of nights before I did. As far as the music during the credits, well, I couldn't figure out how to fade it out, so I just figured maybe some folks might like the song, lol. This movie thing is new to me so I still have quite a few things to learn.

NTESLA- If you are really interested in hearing some more of that music, check out http://www.blackrebelmotorcycleclub.com/index2.html
If you're in the U.S., their CDs can be found at Best Buy, or you can buy them at their site. The songs in the movie are found on the album called "B.R.M.C.". I saw them last year in North Hampton, Mass. at a bar, I had never heard of them before that and they were fantastic.

Thanks again!

I loved the movie, very well done. Only one little complaint.......No P-47's. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yeah, I know. I had action clips using just about every conceivable aircraft match up, and I thought I would use most of them, but I started running out of song for the movie. I pretty much ran out of space. It's a shame too, I like the P47. I fly EVERYTHING in dm games, I love the "****" planes like the I153 and P11 and the Fiats alot. The Brewster is fun as heck too. But you can't help but love the speed and fire power of the Jug. At any rate, I have some nice P47 shots for the next one, if I decide to make another.

Oh you should make another, your movie was very good. And I always love seeing the Jug have a part in a movie. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
