How much the MP from H6 can be an e-sport?
With a turn time limit and a ladder system for the players (like that one from SC2), streaming and playing a H6 matches in a tournament, I think it is a feasible idea.
What do the developers think?
Can be the MP for H6 balanced enough, in order to became an e-sport?

E-sport - not possible.
Fan held tournaments - possible (like in III, IV and V).
Don't forget that developers do not get paid for playing their game. A balancing mod may appear in time (like Equilibris), but that still means fan-held tournaments.

Youd need to do major rehauls in order to make it balanced... removal of damage-ranges, making alterations to skills etc... just look at H5... its horrid

Can be made some compromise later, at the add-on? Like adjusting skills for MP only.
I know the balance is a tough job, but may be it will worth the pain.
Having another strategy (that didn't value so much the APM) on the e-sport scene next to SC2, it is a good thing, I believe.
But, due to the fact that even Blizzard has renounced make an e-sport out of D3, I can't pretend Ubisoft and Black Hole to make a competitive H6 e-sport.
It is though a nice goal, because Heroes series mechanics are suitable for a good e-sport game. Especially if there are small maps, with dwelling that give skills and bonuses that do not change from game to game, and the damage does not have a random factor in it.

Not gonna happen, too much randomness. The top regarding competitions will be tourneys held with specific maps and settings made around balance.

At least there's always Tournament of Honor (http://www.toheroes.com/) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif It's rather quiet for the time being but you might want to check it out when H6 is released.
