another way to get relto page on plateau in eder kemo?

Is there a way to get the relto page on the ledge without having to jump on the rock to get to the ledge after reading about king shamat/ i REALLY SUCK at jumping and would prefer not to jump. i have found a way to get around most of the jumps in the game by going the long way around, i dont care, i dont like jumping, i am horrible at it. help! it took me forevwer to jump onto the pipe off the edge of the sky room control panel ledge. and forver to jump on the stupid rock to close the vent and sank into lava when jumping to other steam vents and then went around long way where you come up after you close the vents, just so i dont have to jump again twice through all that frustration all over again. is this relto page that important?

ok, i have been at this rediculous part for 2 hours or more and it is no longer an enjoyable game, i cannot get beyond this point unless there is another way to get that stupid relto page. gods do i HATE all this jumping crapola!!!!!

Hi Bluecloud, I'm sorry that page is giving you such grief. Take comfort; you are not the only one. And believe me, I hear you about the lava. I really hated all that jumping, too.

Two things I can tell you: One, you don't have to have the Relto page to finish the game. Relto pages are a nice bonus, but not essential. So if you can't get it, don't sweat it.

The second thing: There is a way to just walk up that rock and then jump to the ledge. I think there's a hotspot you can find that will let you do it, or maybe you can just do it. I've forgotten, honestly. Perhaps someone who has played the game more recently than I can give you better information. But it can be done, and then the only jump is from the rock to the ledge. For that, set caps lock on, run jump, stop, and then make sure you set caps lock off again so you don't accidentally run off the ledge before you get the page!

Good luck, and I hope you get the page. But if you can't, don't let it spoil your enjoyment of the rest of the game.

Yea, I just got it myself, it was the last thing I did after I'd finished PotS, it was annoying me that I couldn't get it XD (I'd tryed so many dang times before!)

There's no easy way to do it, just get on the rock, you can walk up it, then run off the rock, wait until you get to the VERY EXTREME edge and jump. I had to do it at least fifty times myself before I finally got it, so don't get discouraged, it's hard!

guys-I DID IT!!!!!!!!!! what a relief and all i needed was a long break from the game even though it is addicting. I did it the way the walk through said, jump on stone and jump on ledge and it took 3 tries after coming back to get the angles and other adjustments right. at least i hit the rock the last 2 times and got the ledge on the third try. i think having the game projected on my big tv helped too even though it is low resolution compared to the monitor. i hope this is it for all this hard jumping, but then i am getting better after so many tries. at least i did not have to keep linking like i did with the lava one and the pipe one.

There is a rock ledge between the area with the fireflies and the area with the puffer plants in Eder Kemo. There is a Relto page on this ledge that will add decoration to your Relto hut, such as a carpet on the floor.
There are two ways to get onto the ledge; both involve a tall black rock in the puffer plant area. You can jump onto this rock from the canyon wall, or you can walk up the rock. Both take some practising. Once on the rock, you can do a shift+forward jump to the ledge.

There will be more jumping, of course. There always is. But you've handled the worst of it, by far.

By the way, there is an easier way than the pipe jump, although I finally tried that last time I played the game. When you come out of the cave, instead of walking left to take the stairs to the vault, go right to the end, and just jump forward off the ledge, and stop immediately. You'll land on the ledge below. It's a jump, but onto a larger area, so it's a lot easier. I missed the pipe once or twice (and I was being exquisitely careful), but I have never missed that ledge.

now i get that valuable piece of information after i have "mastered" the pipe after an hour or 2 of trying, and that was when the sun was out and had a hard time trying to see the game in all it's dark but excellent graphic detail on my computer monitor and so when i had to go back to return the pillar it only took me 2 tries and that was because the first time i had just missed the pipe, i hit the side and deflected down. **** the luck! I was able to see better at that point because it was 2:30AM no sun. I also figured out how to adjust the gamma on the video card control panel to brighten things up and moving to the 36" tv screen helped too instead of a 14" monitor although monitor has much sharper detail on the graphics. Now on the expansion packs that were included on this 2 disk set; the complete chronicles, very interesting, i guess this was worth the mnoney and the 7 days of stress, agony and defeats and victories were sweet with a rush afterward like a "high" and the way up sky box part was just like being way up high for real for me, I cannot stand heights!!!!! I was extremely nervous and sweaty at this whole section and so when it was over it was a "HUGE" relief to be done, only to find i had to go back and do all that all over again. just to return a pillar. when i bring the second guy through i will remember this bit of info. I have 2 going because the first time i did not really get to listen to much of yeeshas beginning speech just before landing in the desert by the "no tresspassing" sign. so i created another to start again and hear it better and kept the 2 going especially when one gets in a situation the other will know about it and avoid that from happening again! the second is about to go into the rotunda with the "labrynth" floor puzzle after touching 3rd journey in kadish tolesa. the "fun" acrophobic part is right after that then the "pain in the butt" eder gira age. almost wonder if i want to bring that 1 through. maybe I will wait a while. And i thought getting the power wheel going in gereeshen was a pain, that was easy compared to getting the bridges ready and keeping the fireflies with you, that took a few times to get those and get back to cloth 7 dry! and with flies. storms were not a problem i wait unitl it was over to get and go back. or hid in the tunnel if it sneaked up on me. twice i almost got hit but made the tunnel or the link book.

Bluecloud, you should see some of the innocent word usages that get censored! The names of certain celebrities (such as that van **** fellow who played Bert to Julie Andrews' Mary Poppins) for example, and just try to spell "salt-water" correctly!
