This week in the Gallery we take a look at the RN Nelson Class Battleships.

The Nelson class, comprising two ships - Nelson and Rodney - is one of the most interesting battleship designs to see combat in World War 2, and the only 16" gun platform in the Royal Navy. The main distinguishing feature of the class is the "all guns forward" approach - allowing for ammo magazines and armour to be concentrated in the forward part of the ship. This, in turn, allowed the ships to stay within the weight limits imposed by the Washington Treaty. While the design proved somehow unsuccessful, the ships remain some of the most powerful of their time.

Really good pics dev team ! Impressive ! The one with the colourfull admiralls sloop is great !

But what about some non-surfaceunits pics for next week ? Like for example sub interior, ports, coastline, tdc screen, crew management screen, lighthouse, planes http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/10.gif

Or if you really want to post some more surface untis next week, how about some from 'periscope' point of view ?

Does SH3 support anti-aliasing?, the edges look a bit rough.

According to UBI the game is still in Alpha stage so many screenshots are not definate at all. They might improve and/or change.

Seriously what's with this huge emphasis on battleships? I thought this was a subsim not a battleship sim, u-boats very rarely got the chance to get in a fight with battleships.

Oh wait I forgot, it's not a subsim anymore, it's a sub arcade. Can't have a mission without atleast 2-3 battleships now can we?

very nice BB pictures, can we please get another
video.it would be great to see inside the boat
i've played the first video so many times
that if it was a VHS tape,it would be worn out.
at this point i'd take any new video,or some
screenshots of damage control...."see you on the pond"

Come on, just for me: How about a picture of a Black Swan class sloop?

Can't have a U-boat sim without the trusty mount of the allies leading U-boot killer, can we? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Very nice, it's really a good job.
It isn't what I'm waiting for, anyway.
My wishes are for destroyers, escort carriers, cutters and a/s trawlers; I forgot some class, but I hope you understand what I mean.

What's with all the negativity? You'd prefer to just take a sub on a spin through the seas of the world and meet nothing on your travels?

Now and then I'd prefer some action. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
