Dodging Stuns.. and not able to stun?

Hi!

I've had two problems for a while now, whenever I drop a defensive smoke bomb, the pursuer either dodges my first stun, then I end up dying, or I just cannot stun at all, and it seems like the smoke bomb affects me too, just without the coughing. Rarely, my pursuer walks right into my smoke bomb, coughs for 0.5 seconds, then kills me :S

Is this a normal problem? and I swear it isn't lag!

It is lag.
He's jamming kill the same time you drop smoke, then you jam stun, on his screen you dodge the kill, on yours he dodged the stun.

Alright, but I'd like to know how sometimes my own smoke bomb affects ME as well as the others, and leaving me not able to move or stun..

some reason my pursuer dodged my stun and I couldn't stun him again

When you throw down a smokebomb and they "dodge" your stun, they actually see you dodging them. Me and my friend tested this multiple times and have concluded, the stun dodge animation means the smoke canceled the contested kill If you did not press the stun button, your character would have dodged normally.

However, yeah, there is a bug where you can be in an endless dodge fest... no idea what triggers it. I threw down a smoke, pursuer dodges my stun, twice, then I dodge his kill, then he dodges my stun, then I finally stun him.
