Chessmaster XI delayed (per Amazon email)

This is part of an email I received from Amazon this morning (some personal info has been removed):

I got the same e-mail from Amazon (I posted that in another thread). Since I chose the next-day shipping option, my delivery estimate was 11/16-11/21. The earliest ship date, according to the e-mail, was 11/15.

I canceled the order because, based upon past experience, tentative ship dates of this nature are usually optimistic. I can always re-order the product after they have it in stock.

At the moment, Amazon is showing it as in stock. (Thursday morning, 11/1.)
