Installation Error

I have installed, rather tried to, Far Cry about 5 times on 2 seperate computers and I always get the same error. I recieved a copy free with my BFG Video Card and I am not sure what the problem might be other than a disk error which seems unlikely. It says that there is a problem with the farcryconfigeng.dll file and to verify it exists and that I can access it. It happens when installing the final cd of 5 and I can see the file on my computer I just don't know if it might be corrupt on the disk. I don't see much of any support on UBI softs website. In fact I had a problem with another UBI soft game that never was resolved, so if anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

Errors on last CD are ususally one of two things.
1. CD or DVD player is one of the few that does not work with Far Cry. This is unlikely since you have tried several different players. Sometimes updating the firmware for your optical drive will work. Sometimes youy can run the installation at a slower read speed (like 24x instead of 48x)
2. You have DVD or CD emulation software installed (like Nero) that interferes with the copy protection. If that is the case, then disable that software and close all open programs and antivirus software before installing.
