I hope this means 400,000 total points, not 400,000 from the level before elite

From Gamespot: "your character will increase in rank, from private second class all the way up to the "elite" class at 400,000 experience points"

I think it means 400k total

Why not? You can go to Gamestop and get the exclusive map or Best Buy and get the early weapon unlock
