Has anyone had a problem getting the mission to end. My Balao is damaged and I would loke to end the mission to effect repairs. Got more japs to sinkk dontcha know.

Are you playing stock game or have you at least patched the game to v.1.4?


What time frame are you playing in and what base did you start your patrol from?

Hello meadowst31,

Are you playing SH4 or SH4 with U-boat missions.
If you are playing SH4 are you patched to 1.4.

You say you were told to just patrol. What patrol were you told to do.
What port did you leave from.

Also, patroling the Marianas, leaving from Brisbane.

Return back to youre home port and click end patrol to finish. then it will ask you if you want to dock, click yes.

You're not givin us enough info. Your version should be 1.5, so you should be updated.

While on patrol you have missions you can complete. These missions range from doing Photo Recons, dropping off supplies or just staying in your patrol area and sinking ships. The patrol mission will show up as a yellow star. That is the location you must go to complete a mission. When you complete the mission, the star will turn gray. You can ask for another mission or just patrol until you head back to port.


Sounds like you're having problems returning to home port. To simply end the patrol, mission completed or not, return to your home port. Your home port will have the anchor tilted to the right and when you arrive you will have the option to dock, ending the patrol. If you don't go to home port, you will not be able to dock, just refit and continue your patrol. You can only do refits at ports where the anchor is straight up. However, refits do not repair serious damage.
