Need help straightening up the game

With regards to IL 2 FB Ace Expansion pack. It installed just fine, but while running it for the first time it does so literaly upside down. Any way to fix this? Any help is appreciated.

you may have an intel graphics processor- if so this will help

Ok, I found out that I have an Intel Media Graphics Accelerator. I'm not really sure if it applies. But either way when I am given a report it says that it's not working properly. Furthermore I'm not really sure how to access the settings described in the article you posted. (if they are in fact the same thing) sorry, this is a brand new computer, I don't know my way around it yet. Anyway, thanks for the help!

know how to fix the flip problem - it happened to me with the original IL2 demo.

Go into your Intel extreme graphics config, (choose 'Graphics properties' from the Intel Extreme Graphics options menu on the system tray Icon) click the rotation tab and uncheck 'Enable Rotation'

You should have a small icon in the system tray- next to the clock that will allow you to access the intel control panel. - sometimes you left click these and sometimes right click to get a menu. This should get you into the menu ASM mentions and follow his instructions.

Ok, the message would show up in the program list that windows provides for you in the control panel. I asked for technical support on the computer since I just got it today. So they recommended I run a system restore. Which I did, and it see6ms the problem is over. The message said "Press Repair if this program is not running properly." And "This program is not running properly." Now those messages are gone. However I reinstalled the game and it still loads upside down. As for the icons in the tray. There are none related to Intel. Thanks though.

Then you need to right click a blank area on the desktop, select properties and then hunt through the display settings to find a setting that will turn on or off the display rotation.

I really dont have experience with these graphics, but asms solution has helped others in the past.

There are 3 other places to look for this

1) In start-programs there may be an intel shortcut here
2)start-settings-control panel- there may be an intel shortcut there
3) start-settings-control panel-display-settings-advanced there may be an intel tab there to allow you to configure your graphics

If you dont find it there then the dealer may not have installed the drivers properly - get back in touch with them on this problem.
