Altair can fly!? Glitch or ability?

You may have to cut and paste that into your address bar b/c the youtube user disabled the embedding feature.

So I've read most of the comments on this video and some ppl say that it's an "easter egg" (whatever that means), others say you can unlock that feature, but most think that it's some sort of glitch.

So... which is it?? Your comments/answers are much appreciated. Thanks.

Nobody really knows everybody is just gessing. People say it is an easter egg because it has its own animations.

It is just in the debug mode of the game for testing, you enter it by pressing both analoge sticks in at the same time. (it's not in the bulids that we have of course)

He fly's around and music plays.

I dont understand all this flying stuff so two questions: can you fly, and if you can, how?

you cant fly. a dev was just screwing around and put it in the debug mode of the game for fun. they took it out for the final release.

It pry was just a joke, or maybe it had some symbolism.

Altair does translate into "The Flying" and he has plenty of other Eagle-like characteristics about him....
