Hey guys
Im having a problem in game where when I try to start a mission, it loads the mission and when its finished the loading screen stays on screen meanwhile i can hear that i have a menu that should be there because when i move my mouse, i can hear it going over options (you hear the click noise when it moves over options) but it just stays at the loading screen and I can get to the menu at all....
is there anything i can do?

Take the game back, it is a PoS.

Hmm. Does your system meet the minimum requirements for the game?
What are your system specs?
Where/how did you acquire the game? Download? OEM? Retail? eBay? Some other way?
@TonikJDK, Chaos Theory is the best of the Splinter Cell games so far. Most people have no problems at all with the game. It's definitely not a PoS.

My guess is that you are running some sort of skins for Windows- like Window Blinds or something similar which is preventing you from seeing things. Try disabling that.

When you re-install the game, do you remove it first? (I assume you do).
Do you also delete the game directory and anything the game leaves behind?
Do you have any virtual drives setup? You may need to disable them if you do.
Are you running your desktop in 32 bit color mode? For some reason this game will crash/freeze sometimes if the desktop isn't set to 32 bit color.
If you have nvTweak you might try setting the bits to allow additional directx setup and then go into the nvidia control panel and set your number of frames to render ahead to 1. I've not heard of anyone needing to do that for this game but you never know.
Are your sound and chipset drivers all up to date? (you never know)
Do you have a virtual desktop setup? If you don't know then you don't worry about it. You don't have one.
Can you bring up task manager (CTRL-ALT-DEL) when this happens? Do you hear a "click" when the screen locks up? Are there any weird artifacts or shapes on the screen when that happens?

Yes i can bring up task manager, SCCT in fact does not crash or freeze, i just hear a click noise right after the mission is finished loading, but it stays at the loading screen, no artifacts, not overclocking my card and its temps are good so i shouldn't see any anyway
any ideas?

I've seen some weird stuff like this when people have "auto-run" turned off. But generally the game won't even start up when that's the problem.
As unpredictabl3 said, I'd check to see that perhaps there's not something wrong with your dvd drive.
I would also reseat all my RAM sticks and cables in the box. They have a tendency to work out of their sockets over time as well as corrode slightly from skin oils and household ozone and suffer dissimilar metal corrosion where you have copper and aluminum contacting each other. It helps to actually undo the connection then reconnect.
Re-seating those can solve some pretty mysterious problems. Especially intermittent ones.
