How is this guy still alive? He rides his bike like some of us fly our planes in IL2.

That guy is an *******. It's one thing to risk turning yourself into road pizza, but it's another thing entirely to risk other people. All it takes is one twitchy driver in a turn lane.

He's good, though.

I really don't understand Russian roads after watching that video. Was that a freeway or just a local highway? In any case, Moscow looks even worse to drive in than Boston or NYC.

video has been up for a while , but the black princes video still has that beat. motorcycle deaths in my country have doubled for the year , compared to 2000

Cat like reflexes, nerves of steel--and brains of mush.

Motorcyclists are far too dependent upon the predictability, awareness and good will of other people for me to ride on the road these days.

What i found funy was how the idiot was complaining about other drivers not staying in their line. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

Supposedly "highways" in Moscow aren't like they are in the US or other modern-ish nations, instead of flyovers and on/off-ramps, they just intersect with other roads that you can turn onto and off of at any time.

I read about it in this article, though unfortunately it's only available as an abstract:

no contest there, Moscow's traffic is comparable to that of the middle east.
