Altair as we already know rides a horse to get from one place to another.

my question:
1)will NPC's also be able to ride on horses and chase after you or escape from you? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

2)is the horse combat just swinging ur sword from side to side or can u do cool moves like throwing knives, using a bow and arrow, ramming ur horse on the enemies horse or like GTA can u run over walking NPC's? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif

3)can u grab riding NPC's off there horse and drop them on the ground? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/halo.gif

Plz answer these questions if u can and giv ur opinoin. And also suggest other theories of horse combat, man to horse combat and man to man combat. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/disagree.gif

To tell the truth though, there's really no telling what the game has to offer when it comes to NPC's riding horses, horse combat or grabbing people off horses lol.

This is one of many things to look forward to when the game comes out and investigating it.

But what I've seen so far in videos, I'm sure there will be certain interactions like you've said. I really hope there are things like that you can do in the game, cuz rly that would be a good bonus http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

What I'm looking forward to when it come to using the horse in the game though is riding it into people and running them over http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1072.gif lol. yeah ive seen a pic of someone whos probably Richard the Lionheart, on a horse with some other knights..just cant seem to find it now..BUT! i know its out there..go look for it!

I'm willing to bet that horses here are like cars in GTA. yes, I'm guessing you will be stealing them like crazy in this game. I think I vaguely remember Jade say something about riding in the countryside with much rougher crusaders and horse battles and chases. I saw a video (Cant find it now) where in damascus, he rode a horse and grabbed a wooden beam above him, after that he jumped on an enemies horse killed him and used his own sword and the enemies sword (still clenched in his dead hand http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif)to slice the enemies on the sides!

well this may sound kinda nasty towards the horse but would be way kool like your in a horse chase a guard on horse comes up next to you , ya slash one of the horses legs out it tumbles and lands on the guard or sumthing

Hmm... well, considering trick riders at the circus, you could be able to get down low enough. I can touch my boot when riding (though I sure as heck can't steer in this position) so I think that might be low enough to smack a horse's leg if I had a sword on hand... I dunno. The horses I ride are so used to lousy riders that they slow down when they think you're screwing up... unless they're feeling evil, then they go faster when they know you suck...

If you've ever played King Arthur, the game, It has a REALLY great horse system, I hope it resembles that. If you were Lancelot (who had two swords) you would spin-slice on each side of the horse. If you were Arthur (who had one huge sword) would slice on witch ever side you controlled. And you could shoot arrows on horse back. I hope it resembles the short sword, and throwing knives.

i can confirm that you CAN do that. i can't be bothered to find which article i read it in, but i can confirm that one article said you CAN run over and kill NPC's but it takes away 1/3 of your health everytime.
