Help, Have that FPS drop that seems to be common, and there is only blood on walls

I have gotten past the face that the graphics suck ***, but my fps drops to about ten when I am on the mission right after they stare out at the beaches. Its terrible I tried droping my forced AA, and aniscopic and I still cant get it to un-****. My comp, well I dont want to take the time to write it all down so basicly I have a 6800 ultra a gig of ram and an amd 64 4000+. I have top notch other things but who cares. Its a realy nasty slow down and it looks like a lot of other people are getting it too, but I can never get any answers cause this entier forum has become a ***** session on why the game sucks. I kind of like it its nice and intence allthough, its funny how pitchford said that you cant just rambo your way through this game, cause that seems to be all I do. Still fun.

My other issue is that there is barly any blood, just some on the walls sometimes, no bullet holes or dismembering, nothing that would rate it M for. Is that normal? or do I have to mess with the gore ini thingy, cause I thought I allready did that.

Please help me get through this. Thanks

PS: Could it be that because I have an Nvidia card and it is an ATI developed game that is the reason why I have the slow downs and the crappy graphics? I doubt it but they did Booby trap Half-Life 2 for some nvidia users.

No it's not because you have on Nvidia card, I have a X800 Pro and a Athlon 3400. My fps drops to, plus the game runs at on average of 35 FPS, with AA and AF set to OFF. Even tought I can run Far Cry, Half life 2 with everything on at a steady 60 FPS with 4X antialiasing and 8X AF.

I have a 9800 pro and all my other games run perfect but my fps on BIA is terrable. Its the game not ur comp.

Tried that a million times lol. What is it supposed to do, isnt it a reminisent of the unreal engine, RVS has it too.

Dosent this give any one a flash back to the bad INI from ravenshield? I am currently addjusting mine and my performace has goten a lot better. Still, for the crappy graphics you would think it would faster.

Remember the Halo port, I just think that poor performance is what gearbox does. Either way once you get into the game it dosent seem to mater unless it drops under 40.

Well it runs perfectly fine on my machine, im running it at 2048 x 1536 with all settings to max..

I don't know if NVIDIA has an Application Preference setting in their 3d options like ATI but if they do, try checking that. I was changing alot of things ingame trying to get rid of my horrible fps and I had forgotten that I used my custom settings in my vid drivers to override the game settings. As soon as I checked those boxes, my fps shot up.

There is plenty of gore... some grenades will blow off limbs, and later on when you get to the tank missions it gets real gory.

Yhea dude the limbs arnt that gory, and for some reason all of the scripted deaths have your team die a horrifying death with blood spewing all over but when you kill some one a little blood splashes on the wall then dissapears, does this mean that germans dont circulate blood? and that the only way to get it out is to force it out with a bullet, but since it dosent pump it just sits inside the german with no bullet holes. I hope this can get modded.
