Where do i get my online key? I downloaded the game and was Emailed a CD-Key but that wont fit into the Online Key section when i try to login to multiplayer...

i installed the game with the cd key

then tried to create an online profile..

i entered my username / ubi account : KelienaNash

i entered my online password for that account

then i entered the games cd key into the online key section and it wont take numbers.

How do i log on to play online please ??

i only play online and i want to try the game out

try replying back to whoever you downloaded from. like direct2drive or whatever service you used.

i bought the game in the box from eb games

it has a cd key

but trying to make an online profile it wont take the numbers from my cd key ... it only takes letters..

so how do i make an online profile to game it online ??

it seems many others have successfully logged online and played ??

For me the install key works also as online key.

THE CD KEY IS THE ONLINE KEY !!!

The NUMBERS you type using the right NUM PAD (dont forget to press the NUM LOCK)

Update punkbuster to get online. Goto evenbalance.com and download the pbsetup thingio.

Run that, add Far Cry 2 with the folder C:\.....\FarCry2\bin\ then let it update. That fixed it for me.

I found that it will take numbers from the number pad but not from the numbers above the letter keys. I hope that helps

Bump. I tried to enter the 'install key' in the 'online key' field and no numbers or hyphens pressed entered any characters at all. Pressing the letter keys enters letters, but no other symbols worked. I assumed this was field validation.

My keyboard is an orignal Logitech G15 connected via USB. I will try entering the missing characters via the numeric keypad when I get a chance.

Number keys do work in the game, I can't at this time confirm if they work in the username/password fields.

I have no problems with the keyboard byond this game.

XP SP2 AMD dual core - er somehting, 8800GTX, logitech G15 keyboard.

It should be on your game's manual - or the website you bought the download from, should have sent it via email?
