Can Spies flip Mercs???

I know this sounds like a stupid question, and im not a "noob" so i should know. But for the life of me i don't.

I was playing a game in Factory. We were going for the Co-Op obj. in the Main Hall when a Merc changed and knocked down my partner. I threw down a few smokes to cover my partner and tried to run behind him for the grab. He turned so his side was towards me at the last second and i swear i grabbed him and "flipped" him so that i ended up behind him. I don't me i flipped him onto his back, but i swear i saw my Spy grab the Mercs hand lifted it up and went behind him.

Anyway, i was wondering if this was a move in the game that i don't know about or im just seeing things...

Nah, it's probably EXTREME lagage. Not jut lag, I mean LAG! Lag with a capital X. Not only would it be cheap, but it would bring many rambo spies. It's not in.
