Xbox 360 router.

Guy's i'm on the brink on buying my 360 and have a few questions and i like to have a idea further on,I'm going for the Elite -why well it's black (back in black http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif) and i choose the elite for the bigger hardware.I know it should be a easy task linking it up to 'live' but u do need to purchase as extra's such as the router,and have to pay for use of 'live' $50,- if i'm correct and have a modem or something similiar like that.I search youtube and found these video's.

I have Router #1, the Linksys Wireless G router. I don't use wireless on my Xbox 360 because the router and Xbox are 1 foot away from each other, but my PS3 that is in my basement uses the wireless just fine.
