if it is built from the bottem up as a consol game will this pose any dis-advantage to pc players. It's just with all of this though tinto making a amazing Xbox/PS3 game that they have slightly neglected the PC.
Oh yea and will consol and pc be able to play online together

Nope, that's just speculation...

it better come out on pc. and there shouldn't be any issues with porting it to pc even though it was built ground up for console because rts has been well established on pc, my point controller to keyboard and mouse is much easier and in saying that. voice command will be just as easy to work in with the game as it would be on console.

This topic has actually come up a couple of times, your welcome to use the search function. As I have stated earlier though, the amount of PC's will run a game as well as a 360, or PS3 are few and far between.... whereas the amount of 360's and PS3's out on the market are many. So it goes to reason that they decide not to open the game up for PC players because they would have to dumb it down to make a decent amount of sales..... and they don't want to dumb it down THAT much.
But there probably will be a PC version, but not for a while after release. They're going to make sure to get as many of those PS3 and 360 sales as possible. And please don't think that just because RTS games have a very good foundation in the PC genre means that all RTS's have to have a PC version. This is one of the first that won't need it. And that's what they have made it for. Purely for consoles.
PC games are cool, but they don't have anything on console games anymore. I would love to see a large group of PC's that have the capabilities to play resistance 2 (if any at all) without any lag...... face it, consoles actually are becoming a better thing, and it's purely because they're are designed to be gaming machines, and of course because there's more game consumers on the consoles than on PC alone.

The only thing that's not yet out, is an officially announcement. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

This is third person view, you are not going to be pointing and clicking. And since you already get the microphone, it will be epic.
And Smith, I wouldn't really rely on info coming from only one site. For example, some site said there will be no tanks in GTA 4, and in a new multiplayer review they said after doing something, they were surrounded by tanks.

Not to mention that site has been a very reliable source in the past. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
And as I said: Ask yourself, why would they invite PC Magazine editors for a game that's officially only coming out on the consoles and handhelds?
Besides, I usually check every info I get using my own sources before I post stuff inside the forums, I get from other websites - I'm interested in facts not hearsay. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
Did you also notice that info (http://www.gamespot.com/psp/action/splintercellpsp/news.html?sid=6188280)? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">French publishing giant Ubisoft revealed last week that it had bought the intellectual-property rights to the Tom Clancy name, spanning games, films, books, and merchandising that involve the best-selling author's techno-military media empire. Prior to the deal, Ubisoft had built a successful business out of the partnership with Clancy, which has borne fruit in the long-running Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six franchises, among others.
Rainbow Six Vegas, Ubisoft's successful close-quarters tactical shooter, saw its sequel debut last week and ship more than 1 million copies in the US alone. Additionally, a new Clancy-based property, the WWIII-themed strategy game EndWar, will launch on the <span class="ev_code_red">PC</span>, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 later this year, as will the code-named Tom Clancy's Air Combat. The publisher isn't content to leave Tom Clancy games there, given that group CEO Yves Guillemot mentioned the possibility of developing a Tom Clancy massive multiplayer online (MMO) game in the future.
Ubisoft shares rose as much as 12 percent to €54.98 ($86.54) on the news during trading yesterday, and were at €54.92 ($86.44) as of midday Wednesday on the Paris stock exchange.
</div></BLOCKQUOTE>Not to mention, Next Gen games cost a lot of money in development, which means in order to get something out of your investment, you definitely need to deliver a game for as many platforms as possible, especially if their installbase is as large as on the DS, the Xbox 360, the PS3 and the PC. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Their is simply no way they would do that to PC gamers, wile I myself more of a counsel gamer (Wii)I would love for it to come out on the PC and it should be noted that if u play with voice command's that very little if any game controlles would have to be changed to acomodate PC gamers.
Besides that wiki says that it would and since wiki is a site of people colaberating their information it would go to show u that u could really on thos types of sites alone if wished but it being better if u relly on several sites

Your absolutly right Godzilla1. Ubisoft has already announced a PC version of the game (as stated by VTH_Smith and if they have already devoted to a PC version of the game then I am certain that it will be a qaulity port.
Ubisoft has always made great PC games anyways. I dont see why they would make the End War port ay diffrent.

Why thank you DukeCanada, and a simple fact that MOST (possibly EndWar as well, but probably not) RTS games that have been made for consoles have done poor and at a business point of view it would make a hake of alot more since to put money on both a console and PC game like this then just console's

Ummm before this veers too much off topic...As long as your computer can handle the graphics and you have a microphone, there should be no disadvantage. It will be the same game, just on a different machine.

this is good news, but it still wouldn't surprise me if they did what they did with assassins creed and hold it back a couple of months. Anyway does anyone know how the port to PC went for that game?

There have been a few comments about repetitive gameplay but since they didn't change the overall gameplay and only added a few more investigation methods, it simply couldn't be that much different. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Overall, so far everyone seems to be pretty happy with the PC version. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
