How cool would it be for someone other than Ubi Montreal of course (ok, let's keep it simple, UBI Montreal can do it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif)to make a 2 game in 1?

On the one hand, you would have the GR boys doing their stuff on rural terrain and the R6 boys on urban stuff but, from time to time, they meet up to take on some freak lord, hostage situations, missile strikes, etc, etc together (sometimes on rural and other times on urban scenarios) and you can use both teams at your leasure like you could before? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

ubisoft doesnt have the balls to be a great company because all they have to do is be a normal game company/publisher and do what the industry was built on : qwuality games and decent support , why did redstorm become so ******* popular that actually got ubisoft part of the development of the XBOX version of americas army ? red storm is doing it because they kicked *** in '99 and theyre still good enough even under the iron thumb of UBI ...

I know, I was merely day dreamin if you will. UBI would be smart to make this move, make it a Collection Pack or whatever cool marketing skim they want to use here and have it at a price of almost double.

Now, being said that, if they try to skirt around the proper coding/programming, this could really be the death of UBI as we know it, but then again, I am sure they would be able to sell this to their market.

I posted a nice scenario in the Console forums for a part of the game and I will go get it and paste here later.

Picture this scenario...

Ghost team is on its way to a Warloard Hacienda for (erm, whatever... do we really need an excuse to shoot tangos? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif of course it needs a good storyline and plot) so, the ghost get there but need the help of Rainbow 6 to extract the Warload honkered down inside his Hacienda Mansion (Ghost are not trained for this type of extraction).

They meet up outside the Hacienda (about 3 to 5 clicks from it), they get as close as they can, Ghost team is on hold covering the perimeter and making sure nothing comes in while the R6 unit goes to do their biz. Ghost teams make sure they snipe any guard posted on duty at the ready.

Cue movie trailer of this switch and you are now a member of the R6 unit.

You start to infiltrate the Hacienda in super stealth mode, all of a sudden, one of the R6 unit member trips over a hidden alarm (We need to help UBI Montreal don't we? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif) and all hell brakes loose. R6 unit gets into a firefight inside the Mansion and call in for Reinforcements.

Cue in another trailer... you have the option to start a firefight inside the Hacienda with the R6 unit and/or a firefight with the Ghost to deter the entrance of the Reinforcement... you can switch from either one of them at will and your game will be pause so you can continue and fisnish the map.

^^yeah....but then the Warlord dips a few of his bullets into Alien DNA which he found on this secret excavation site and the Ghost gets shot and infected and starts mutilating into one of the Aliens and heads for the Alien teleporter at the cave at the excavation site, only to be followed by the Rainbow operative who has to inject himself with the Alien DNA to be able to pass through the teleporter and they both meet up in the Alien spaceship which turns into a corridor shooter where the Rainbow Alien hunts the Ghost Alien through massive spaceship levels using advanced Alien weaponry, but during the final battle the spaceship launches taking them both to a mysterious Alien planet where the Rainbow and Ghost Alien dudes need to train Alien creatures and you end up controlling a squad of 6 Alien monsters before heading into the final boss battle and.....

I want some of what Snipey is smoking !

It looks like you did pretty good without having any of what Snipe is smoking!!

Maybe you could hire on with Ubisoft and help them develop this Rainbow 6 Ghost title.

Then all they would need is good programmers to pull it off, and the proper staff to stick around long enough to fix the issues after release, and connect with the gaming community once again!!
(Wait .. did Ubisoft ever do that??)

With your leadership and the help of this community, maybe, Ubisoft could show some pride in their products and once again gain the respect of their customers!!

I only work in places that have poles and jerks watching the poles....no worries about not offering me a job ! And furthermore, I never purchase games, so no worries there either.
