hi people. im pretty new to this.

so yeah i was playing a game called 'the thing' on my xbox original (loving it) and it had some sort of weird character thing as the NPC's would only do things if they have 'trust' in you, unless you used coercion (for you lot who don't know what coercion is it's when you force some one to do`something your usually holding a lethal weapon to their head) or they would do badly if they have to much 'fear' it's pretty good actually because getting stragglers won't be as easy as you may think. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Unfortunately 'the thing' includes spaceships and aliens and ****e like that so yeah...
but if that was in the game it would make NPC interaction slightly better at the least.

thanks you guys. (and gals)

I know the game, have you played it much? You will notice that all the "trust" is not that advanced. great idea, but did not work. Its like the "social stelalth" in assassins creed, no "social AI", just a thing, gimick, stuff you can do. "you come to a town, and take the munk train into the city"
