so, what do you think....continue the storyline or start a new one?....

We've had several storylines thru the years. We've had the Corak vs Sheltem original theme. Then we switched over to the Ironfists/Gryphonheart storyline. Finally we reached the new story that was started in Heroes 4. So, what'cha think. Continue one of the previous stories....or simply have "another turn of the page" and begin anew.

The universe must still be the same, and I want clear signs of it, even if the story itself happens on a completely new planet. The name of main characters is IMO not as important as the fact that the story is good.

A blend of Old and new would be nice, but I am old School and as long as it stays true to the M&M Mythos then I will be happy.

There were a lot of stories in H4, but they weren't linked with each other. So, I don't think that it's possible to base on H4 story. But the H3 story was finished. It must be new story, but in the world of H3 after many years, or in the H4 world with new heroes.

I only care about the story when I'm playing the campaigns and even then I liked campaigns like Christians the best where they are stories that involve the hero alone rather than great global conflict.

I'll probably be ok with whatever they do.

I'm with Rex on this one, I'm more drawn in by campaigns centered around a specific hero or series of events rather than the fate of the whole world. One campaign can still easily lead into another when the scale is kept relatively small.

The whole Corack vs. Sheltem thing is getting a bit old if you ask me, but it wouldn't bother me if the story were still based around them for tradition's sake. Like I've said before, though, I thought Heroes 1 did fine without any really clearly defined story.

I'd like to see a new storyline, perhaps set on a different world. Maybe some portal allowed a few heroes to migrate through, but into an already existing world with it's own issues. This would allow UBIsoft much more creative liberty.

I'd prefer it stay in the world of Heroes 4. Even if Heroes 4 was pretty much an afterthought, it shouldn't go down as such. Doesn't even really have to be the same heroes, but show us how the world has evolved and is functioning now.
