I was looking for a better paint scheme for the Israeli Mezeks that you fly in EAF602Whizz's "Young Lions" campaign, and couldn't find any, so I decided to do my own.

After some research I found a page called "101 Squadron" (http://www.101squadron.com/) with good info and all I needed regarding colour and numbers.

And this is what became of it:
http://web.telia.com/~u45703849/upload/israelimezek.jpg

They're not finished yet, got some tweaking to do, some colour corrections and maybe more numbers, possibly a couple of heavily weathered planes too.

The green finish is supposed to be €œRAL 6031€ applied by the Czech factory, and I think I got pretty close.

The shots are from the wrong side actually, but there are some differences between them;
The 106 only got the Israeli national markings
The 108 is painted with the national markings and the squadron badge on the left side of the engine (angel of death)
The 112 and 120 is identical and got national markings, squadron badge, red spinner and red and white stripes on the rudder
These schemes are pretty accurate. B&W photos from the 101 Squadron page inspired the 106 and 108, and restored aircrafts the 112 and 120.

This is not the correct aircraft for this skin, as the Israelis bought Czech planes from Avia called S-199. They were 109G airframes with Jumo 211F engines, and is therefore not identical to the G-14 this skin are made for. The main visible difference is the cowling and the missing cannon in the spinner.

Where's the campaign (or some missions) to go with these. I normally only like 109s on fire, but I'd actually fly these <G>.

There's a campaign called "Young Lions" that are perfect, which can be downloaded from Netwings:

After a quick edit of the mission file with notepad you're ready to go!
