I wanted to post a little thank you note to Ubisoft for getting this patch out the same day for Steam Users. Accident or not, due to the work of Valve people or not. It is great and I appreciate it a lot.

To the 178 people involved in making Far Cry 2:
THANK YOU!
Can't say anything simpler and yet to the point!
Though I'm almost 41 and have been playing games since 1981 (in a Sinclair ZX1 with 1 Kb RAM!!!), I have to admit that FAR Cry 2 is not only the best game I've played in my life so far, I'm just amazed with the collective thinking and effort put behind it!
Most of all, the "immersion" elements are so well thought-out (notwithstanding the other features of the game like mission scenarios, graphics, gameplay, etc.) that never before have I felt so much "into" a game... Some Ubi folks have truly captured the essence of designing an "experience" as opposed to designing and building a "game".
There is a huge difference between "playing" a game and "living" a game!
Congratulations people! I personally think you've made software history with FC2... As a software industry professional, I wish I was part of your team!
"Thank you" is one of the lowest complements you can give to Ubisoft and Far Cry 2's creators. There isn't really a word to describe my love (xD) for them.
