Well I'm not that much into that kind of music... Actually I thought Korn were some of the usual FAroese bad imitations, but I take they are the original stuff?
Else it is, all the classicals before 1920, Beethoven, Mozzard, Bach, Handel, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, Vivaldi, Grieg... all those guys. Much movie music, PC music when it is good, Queen, Pink Flloyd, Metallica, Folke Music, lighter Heavy Metal groups, jazz, good old rock... And I've most likely forgotten a lot of them http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

i like Bach, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky style the most of the classicals. the bases, have gotten more and more fascinated by the bases in orchestras sinceI really started to play tuba... have played for 5 years now and now I'm starting to complain about orchestras with to few bases and checking if something is wronge whit the stereo when listening to the lighter Vivaldi pieces http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif
Else mine favorite oieces are horn ones, Handel has a lot of good ones and Mozarts Requiem is just deliceous http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Wish I could go to Queens... haven't seen any CD with the new singer, but he can't be close to Freddy Mercury...

Wow, impressed by the non usuall classical likers. I'm currently listening to Tšaikovski(Tchaikovsky), but my favourite is Bach. No one mentioned Sibelius http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif
Of other bands, Nightwish, System of a Down, Björk, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Queen, Mars Volta, Kate Bush, Opeth, Massive Attack...
But lately, it's been largely classical or Eastern/Chinese music. And Heroes 5 music ofcource http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
edit: oh Justice mentioned Sibelius http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Really! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif Me too. Was your old username "Justin Giver of Light"?
Back to topic: I assume you're talking about Týr, the Viking-Metal band, and I can only agree, they sound very much like Black Sabbath and Metallica, but they are quite good still.
I myself listen much to U2 and other rock groups.

Dergos, since you are Belgian; what do you think of d'Eus? I really like that band...
But for my favourite band of the last 10 years: Tindersticks. If you don't know them; look for songs like 'nectar' 'city sickness' 'sweet release' 'chiletime' and oh man I can name almost a hundred songs, they are all enchanting.

60's-80's Rock (all types) and I will admit I don't mind a bit of Techno/Trance now and then http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif
EDIT: Oh and Maledicere, that sigs a bit off. The quote goes "He who fights with monsters should look to it that hee himself does not become a monster. When you gaze long into the Abyss, the Abyss gazes into you."
