CD Not Recognized

I just received BIA yesterday. When I attempt to load it onto my computer it does not start up in Autostart or when I go to My Computer (disc drive). I get the prompt that says "please insert correct CD". In fact when I go to the disc drive BIA is not even shown as being in the drive. Both my computers meet or exceed BIA's requirements. I know that I have a good disc as I attempted to see if the disc would even be recognized on my work laptop as a test and it is. I have no problem runing Halflife 2 or Farcry. What am I missing? Thanks for the help.

Do you have a DVD ROM?
you need one to play it.
Other than that, I know nothing.

Thanks dawgpound14 for the tip....shame on me for asking the stupid question as I only have a CD-RW installed. I knew that after I saw your posting. I wanted the game so bad that I missed that part on the requirements. What you suggest for a DVD-ROM....manfucturer, price, etc.

I have that same problem but i DO have a DVD-ROM drive..wat 2 do wat 2 do?

Sony dvd, Aopen, Creative all are good. You can get a playback only from 35 to 45 bucks.
