Hi all, im completely new to this forum lark, so would really appreciate your help....ive just completed the WWIII part of End War, and have about 750 000 credits - i expected to take this over to the TOW part of the game, yet when i started, my credits were all gone, and now my units are all but useless without thier upgrades, and im losing ALL my battles online!! i get a pathetic no. of credits after my miserable defetat, and and have realised its going to take FOREVER to get these credits ups to a level where i can upgrade enough to put up a real fight!
Firstly, is this normal, did you all start with very little, and work your way up, and secondly, if so, any hints or tips to helping win battles with my USA battalion????
Cheers all,
Chris

The credit rewards are ridiculously low in ToW, just have to keep trying until you can scrap enough together, not much else you can do.

hey and welcome to what is left of the endwar forums. im one of the few remaining vets that still takes an interest in the game.
unfortunatly for you, you chose the hardest faction to play as. we have no specialty other that a few more meters of attack range seeing as the developers decided to give all the factions the unique attributes of the JSF. but like the marines say "we make do."
the credits and battalions from singleplayer do not cross over to the TOW multiplayer. its slow going at first but it will speed up. i suggest getting very good at playing base maps because these offer a territory bonus because of their importance. second take a closer look at your battalion and make sure its right for you. i was originaly mechanized but i changed to the 13th Airborne because it fit my play style more. third, make sure you buy electronic warfare when you start getting into the hundred thousand credit per match mark. it will be a godsend when you have no supports and the enemy does. plus it ****es people off and makes them make bad decisions. fourth, buy upgrades for the units that you are going to be using the most. by the way, your credit reward goes up depending on your rank, which goes up when you upgrade units and rank them up so it is possible to lose rank if too many units are permakilled. fifth, do not try to race the euros to an uplink thats in the middle. you will lose. better to hang back and prepare a proper attack. also dont try to slug it out with the russians. your faster than them so use that advantage.
last, i want to warn you about a guy named Stav44 or something thats scamming people on the forums. he claims to be a pro and is selling a guide for $70 that is just the manual and tutorial that comes with the game. do not listen to him and just ignore his posts.
good luck.

Ok so when you go up in rank you can get more money right? Cause I noticed that since I hit rank 7 I've been getting around 200,000 instead of 150,000.

yes because of the price of higher level upgrades. if you only got 100,000cr per match then you would never be able to by the 1.5 million credit upgrades.

Well I'm a vet who has minimal interest in the game anymore (until it gets fixed), so where does that put me?

That puts you on the "vets that wait till the game gets fixed" area.

Question:
If I change battalions or factions what if anything carries over to the new battalion/faction?
I've got several million invested in the current one so I'd like to know for sure before doing it.
If I just switch battalions do any of the upgrades transfer over? If I switch factions do I get money in exchange for all the upgrades I just threw away?

You get about a third of your total upgrades worht of credits if you switch factions, loose all upgrades and ranks.
Only switching battalions just resets all units, you keep all upgrades.

If your new to ToW, just buy all the little 100,000 credit upgrades to help upgrade your overall army rank. Higher rank gains higher credits.... Build up a foundation to gain more credits per battle.
