Today i accidentally rammed a tugboat with a IXb, ahead full. Was lining up for a deck gun attack and too late realized they were too close. Anyway, the tug flipped upside down and continued sailing on, not sinking, comletely inverted. It sank eventually and i got no credit, but that's no big deal. Still, how on earth would that boat sail upside down? Don't tugboats have really heavily ballasted bottoms to prevent just that?

What you saw is a virtual tugboat. In other words, it's almost a tugboat but not quite.

If you're patient enough, you'll see planes take off upside down in WWIIonline, for example (even made a movie of that...haha).

Not knowing the speed at which it was sailing, maybe it has something to do with the momentum plus lack of friction, etc.

Not as good as my pic of this flower that was escorting a convoy half sunk.

It was slow but it wouldn't sink, just kept bobbing along until i got fed up watching it and left.

Haha nice one! you shouldve rammed it. Due to its angle it wouldnt be able to shoot back, and the damage done to it already would probably make it sink, as well giving you the credit
