How to defeat Warrior on PS3 - Please Help

I know I have to push him off the edge. But when I time do that, its telling me to tap the square button, i tappped as hard as I could, but I failed again and again. I have been doing this for 45 minutes, i still failed. Do you guys have any suggestion on how to tap faster to defeat him?

I have trouble there to butt i have done it much en now I have finished the game.Butt when it failed al the time you can ask a friend of he doing it for you.That have i done the first time and he have do it in one time

NOt sure if you alreaddy have this figured out. simple answer there is no other way. i used my index figure rather than the thumb to tap it fast enough to defeat him.

even i tried pushig off the ledge by tapping square button several times but failed...anyone have better option how to defeat him.....
