The EAX was OFF by defualt! Go to BIA.INI file to edit...
I think this works, havnt tried it yet cos I cant use my 5.1 because it is 1am!

i wonder what that means
I am having the same problem with a Creative Audigy 2. I changed these settings, loaded the game, and opened the .ini file back up.... The settings are back to the same.
Bahh!!! I want 5.1!

Remember if you modify the .ini you will need to right click and write protect it to stop the game writing over it upon load.
Also advisable to keep a copy of the file somewhere on your comp, just in case it goes tits up http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
