Ok Rhou, you convinced me. I'll get SCDA eventually, it's just a matter of funds. Damn all these good games coming out at once!!<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

So far I'm really having a great time with this game. I haven't really had a chance to try out the multiplayer on it yet and will hopefully be playing it, with people soon.

I'm not really sure how much the changes to the multiplayer, will affect my opinion of the gameplay. I was never an elite player at Pandora Tomorrow or CT (but, I did know my way around to some degree). Though from the sounds of these changes. It will hopefully allow players of all types, to enjoy the game.

There will always be complaints about a sequel. If you don't change the elements of the game enough or too much. There will always be people that are unhappy. As long as the majority enjoys it. The game to me, was successful at what it was set out to do.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The thing about Halo 2 is it was made much easier to be able to kill people, you would notice large difference between the higher and lower skilled people in Halo 1 than in Halo2 (sword is complete BS too).

I did like how on CT you could do different objectives to win in story(hack, HDD, Bomb), and the mercs had sound sensors instead of proximity ones (only needed because of the new long range Hacking). Overall I did like ChaosTheory much better just the homing of jumping on someones head was annoying sometimes and it liked to glitch up on me pretty bad at times. I will still be playing SCDA though. (The SP on SCDA is more fun than SCCTs though)

One thing that is annoying me is that alot of new games are becoming increasingly faster paced and easier to play, as long as Rainbow and Halo3 don't do that I'll be happy.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Excellent Blog Rhou.

I'm interested to see how the multiplayer in Double Agent ends up working out for me. I was always one of those people that didn't know what they were doing in the previous games & therefore, was never able to get into them.

I'm hoping that isn't the case, although, I've had the game for 2 days & I've barely touched it so by the time I end up playing multiplayer, everyone will probably know more then me & I'll be right back to square one.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Yeah I know. I mean, who would want to be able to sit down for 15 minutes and have a great time? I only want to play a game where I have to play for hours to get on the same level as everyone else and then I want it to take 2 hours before I can call it a good experience.

Seriously games being fast paced and easy to play is a good thing. Games should be easy to pick up and play and then take time to master. Games should also offer a good time for just a few minutes if you don't have a lot of time to sit down and play. Just because a game seems simple doesn't mean it has nothing to offer.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Maybe so but at the rate I'm going this weekend, it'll be like Saints Row which I've owned since it came out & to this day, I've still never played a multiplayer game.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I'm actually surprised that DAs MP is as good as it is. I like it alot more then pervious games.
They made it from my opinion the way it should've been from the beginning. It's more intence now. And as a spy you have to be alot more stealthy then in the other games.

Since I visit the official forums often I can say from experience that most of the vets that don't like the new MP are aggro spies. Why do I know this? Simply because this new MP affects them the most. They don't like it because UBI made it too hard to aggro a merc. So it affects the way they play the game.
There just mad because they no longer can run'n'gun. I'm proud that UBI finally did this.

Most people would say that DM belongs in SC online but odviously the devs didn't want it that's why they took it out.
Anyways I'm happy with the hole game myself.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I love the way the game has been put together. Having players put a premium on teamwork is a good thing. If anyone has been playing through the co-op missions, then they will know that this game is not dumbed-down. The Onyx series really primes you for what is ahead. When you get to the Zircon set of missions, you know that even if you have enough spy skillz for 3 players, you still need all three people to help you get through and succeed. The Diamond class series of missions are off the chart. Bring your(team)game, or you won't even realize what happened before your hearing the "mission failed" message through your speakers. Of course, I'm excluding the "double agent" missions. Those are actually pitting spys on the same team against each other to see who's top dog! Very cool http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I think the changes to the game were well thought out. In the best interest of keeping things fresh, while maintaining a challenging, yet balanced game. It's safe to say, the finished product was a victory in teamwork.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I think I've completed up to mission 10 (in Zircon list) by myself. Ive been playing more versus than Co-Op so I have not done them all.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Oh. Getting through is not really so hard in the begining missions. Getting gold medals is what I was going for. Being the best in every mission. I have all golds thus far. It wasn't easy. Got my first gold in the Diamond series just today. It was taxing. Only possible with teamwork.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
