man. don't return the game. UBI is having enough probs with the PC version. Just get used to the game as it is. There are pilots out there who are USED to a radio controller with the controls opposite as well. Games are games made by other ppl who have made this for us without OUR input. they make them to play and not complain about. We all are people who are very good about adapting to new things. If you can't change to new levels of configuration, how in the heck do you succeed in life? Get used to the structure for now, because it will change with the next new game you play. Remember those Coleco, Sega, Activision games? Talk about default settings.... C'mon, just play the game and get used to it!!!!
