The game isnt about the british at D-Day. it's a TRUE story about a GROUP of AMERICAN Soldiers. British MAY Appear in the game, but they sure wont be controllable.

I wonder whether you will pick a weapon or be assigned one and, if you do select one, whether you entire squad will use the same weapon...(that could be disastrous-thompon smg for each person in a squad!)ouch

TrueEnemy - what are you talking about? Are you saying DDay didn't happen? Where do you get your information, anyway?

The game is about a squad of men of the 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. It's about their drop in Normandy on June 5th and goes until DDay +8 I think. Since the British paras and seaborne forces were about 50 km away, I highly doubt we'll see any Brits in the game for the interests of realism.

Also...I just noticed this forum doesn't have a stickied FAQ. Maybe it needs one?

I was saying the game was based on a true story about a group of American Soldiers who dropped on D-Day, Didnt mean for it to sound like that.

Often times people think that D-Day were the beaches. When in fact it was the whole operation ie beaches AND Airborne. Who had more troops or more success doesn't matter to me, if you want to argue then I would say the Americans but regardless. I don't think the game will have many British troops if any becuase it seems the game is based on 8 days after D-Day, June 6th through June 14th. I don't beleive the Americans and British had linked up untill the 16th, or around then. Also as someone said earlier this is a game based on the true accounts of a squad of AMERICAN soldiers from the 101st. So with those twos ideas in mind I don't see any British soldiers bieng in the game. Lets not make this game another nationality war argueing about the Americans think they won WW2 or whatever the Europeans think, history is your proof if you do want to argue about it, just read it. As for the game, well I've already answered that one also, so I guess I will shut up.

im sure you will pick your own weapons there prob won't be a squad under your control in multiplayer

im pretty sure there iwould be a limit to thompsons and bars, if you wanted it to be ralistic, prolly sumthing like 1 bar a sqd, 2 thompsons, 1 sniper, and the rest rifle?
im not sure how it works, lol
