Rainbow Six Vegas can't play MP

Ok, so i just recently reinstaled rainbow six vegas and the first thing i did was forwards the ports. I start up Rainbow six and go to multiplayer and it says "Failed to Initialize Network Service". Now i know I've forwarded the right ports. Are the servers down or somthing?

Hi i had that problem then i downloaded a patch for it i think it was the 1.03 one and that fixed that problem but now i have in counted another problem when i go to log on it comes up with some error message cant remember what it said as i dont have the game with me at the moment any help would be great! and i hope this helps your problem you can download patch here.... http://www.ubi.com/US/Downloads/Info.aspx?dlId=2026
