Two more Spitfire IXc's uploaded to Flying Legends,
Spitfire IXc flown by Flt Lt Richard Audet, 411 Sqn, Heesch, Holland 1944.

In this A/C Audet flew a sortie on 29th December 1944 in which he became "An Ace in a Day" by destroying five German aircraft in quick succession.

Spitfire IXc flown by Wing Commander J E Johnson while Officer Commanding Kenley Wing in spring 1943.

In this A/C Johnson was credited with the destruction of 12 enemy aircraft, all single engined fighters.

"Just Glourious". Sleak curves, Smooth lines - Pure thoroughbreds. The second screenshot says it all for me, only thing missing is that harmonius Rolls Royce rumble. An Excellent Job Kristorf.
