I've always pondered the question to whether Sam Fisher is actually over 50 years of age. I doubt this because he looks like hes about 45.

He's technically 51, but Ubi said for all future Splinter Cell Games (DA included), Sam Fisher's age would be locked at 42. I'll see if I can find the article.

Wasn't Sam in his early 50's in the first SC?

Edit: Never mind, math was never my strong suit.

I liked his look in sc1 with the grey/white sideburns. They made him younger in PT though.

His bio In the first game had his age as Unknown, but it was later revealed in Chaos theory that he was actually older than lambert, which kind of surprised me..

Sam looks after himself, and as such has great physical conditioning, no wonder he looks young compared to lambert, who looks like his main form of work-out is doughnut eating http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif so his physical appearence will probably be "locked" to his early 40's for the rest of the SC games..

And can you blame ubi? They dont want to be making levels where sam needs to Infiltrate the post office and cash his pension... followed by the extremely dangerous "Go down the shops and buy some new carpet slippers without breaking a hip" mission...

He is too cool to be killed off or retire, SplinterCell is about sam fisher, and without him it would just be another stealth game. So expect to see him right into his 60's :P

I guess it'll become something like this:

Yoda - "When 900 years old you reach, look as good, you will not!"

Sam - "Wanna bet?"

:P

i think a cool way to change from sam being the hero of splinter cell to another, would be by introducing a new splinter cell in training http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif, and have Samn as his mentor or something... or even co-op partner http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I think they may keep him in his 50s. Its sort of an interesting twist. Sam's bio said he does not want to die, so maybe he is staying in his top physical condition by working out every day. Maybe the games will continue until he reaches 60, and he will still look the same. This is what makes Sam such an interesting character.

He's 42. I've already said this.
He SHOULD be 51. But he's 42.

Technichally, he is 51. But from DA and onward, he will be a perpetual 42. He was 47 in SC1, 49 in PT and 50 in CT.

Sam is 52 in 2008 when Sarah dies, which is when double agent begins. So he's 52.

The first SC book tells you Sam is older.
