Just wondering if they might include a world editor to create your own skirmish and online maps?
Whats your opinion on this?

It would have been really good if they had input a world editor. Perhaps it could be DLC in the future? Anywho i think there's just too many variables, with a map of that size there are just so many options. Filling it ALL with buildings, units and cover would essentially take a very long time and would also chew up a lot of space. I still wish they had one though. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif

don't count on it....we are still trying to talk them into adding in smokescreens.... once that happens, then maybe they can start spending time with their late-release pc version and adding in a map editor to it.....

its not that good of an idea in my opinion. it would be like creating your own risk game. risk takes a long time to win (atleast in my family) without oher people playing your created map it wouldnt be very fun.
so in order for you to actualy have fun with your own world map, it would have to be uploaded and allow a bunch of other people to play it along side of you. wich would be more complicated then its worth. cause cmon honestly, world maps will get boring either way, sure new looking world map could keep it going for a bit longer... but not long enough to make it worth it.

If EndWar did have a map maker, I would like it a little bit like the console Far Cry ones. Just choose your terrain, drag and drop items in and have fun making stuff.
The more complicated the map maker, the more time consuming it becomes to make a simple and fun map, and map makers on consoles games are still a rare thing.

I would have been hoping for not a new "world" maker, but a level editor with the classic age of empires or warcraft 3 setup. Drag and Drop. I wasn't proposing making an entire new world just a level for modded scenario's or something.

Or the could be a program on the computer..than you can transfer it on your console..like..C&C zero hour..they had a world editor.

Either one would have been an excellent idea. I like it because it offers options. Never can understand when someone says an option is a bad idea. This is clearly an either or: you can tinker with your own design or use the standard ones.
