but that doesn't make sense, you don't need to be more ninja to kill a ninja! especially since your character is more of a swordsmen than a ninja (yes ninjas use swords but they're usually not the main tool they use since poison darts are far more effective to employ fast accurate quiet killing and ninjas are more of a stealthy style character that doesn't charge in guns/swords blazing since it defeats the purpose of being a ninja...) so I'm still guessing it's going to be a stroyline where you can choose between doing a good and evil storyline that at some point close to the end they both join forces to defeat some group or organization bent on total domination which they either employed the ninja character and then tried to backstab him or they killed his employer so he wants revenge while the good character wants to stop the organization because he wants justice for something that happened in his past...(am I close Ubisoft? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif)

ninjas were real...(also that sword they showed is extremely inaccurate of what a ninja would use, a ninja would use a wakizashi a sword that's small enough that it is light enough for them to better move around but still longer than a dagger to give them better range.) they were used for hundreds of years.

minor correction: Ninja's used a sword named the ninjato. it was like a wakizashi but with a straight blade, not curved like the wakizashi. wakizashi were a short sword carried by samurai for CQC if they lost their yari (lance/spear) or katana, they would use this as a last resort. Miyamoto Musashi was famous for developing a style called Niten-Ichi-Ryu in which the wielder uses both katana and wakizashi at the same time, (Just like RS1. Also in RS1 the sword fights are accurae to Musashi's NiTen-Ichi-Ryu). This combo is referred to as "Daisho". Hope this clears up any misconseptions. Last though: there were ninjas in real life. look up Sasuke, Hattori Hanzo, and Kotaro Fuma. Yeah, my brother thinks they're announcing a multiplayer mode; maybe just a dueling mode. I'd love MP, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

It'd definitely be a welcome addition. I'd still prefer an all-out online MP mode, but since we're getting Modern Warfare in November, I'm fairly satisfied.
