Update Servers on PS3

Is there anyway that we can get an update for the Playstation 3 platform. The xbox 360 got updates and new maps, what about the millions of PS3 gamers that have the game and are tired of the soft spots, the glitches and lag because UBISOFT refuses to update the server. I just wish they could fix the small problems, to a great game, wouldnt even need a new map if they could fix the lag and glitches in the game as well as the soft spots.
