First, the game is AWESOME! Best sim ever! I salute the dev team.

Next: Would someone please explain the problems associated with multiplayer. I can't get the ready button to show, so that's as far as I get.

Finally: Bring on the patches. Lots of little things to fix.

Thanks

Yes, we have the same prob here... we are trying to connect with the ok button. The ok button become disable at the moment that someone join in the the list...then it seem to be impossible to start the game.

By looking to other game that seem to be running, how do you guys start the mission? you dont have the problem that we are having?

can someone please help us on this... its painful http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

This was posted somewhere else in the forums, but there is a work-around for this bug that worked for me everytime.

When you get at the screen listing all the games that you can join, pick one, and AS SOON AS you get the "Connecting..." message, alt-tab and let SH3 run in the background for about 10 seconds, then switch back to it. You should be in game "lobby" and your READY button should be available.

I did this about 10 times in a row and it worked everytime. However, after 2 or 3 times the game would slow down tremoundously and I'd have to exit completely out of SH3 before trying again.

This afternoon I had the pleasure of playing a randomly generated game online with 2 other people, and amongst the convoy of ships we came across was a passenger liner! It took me 6 torps and about an hour of real time to sink her but it was fantastic! Should have taken some screenies http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

thx,
I have found another solution with a friend...
instead of doing this alt tab again and again we found that when it doesn't work you just have to rejoin and rejoin until its going to work. This was pretty much a better way to resolve this problem instead of making the switch from an aplication from one another.

thx for the help anyhow its very appreciated.
