I dont know about the video card... But instaling the video card is easy if you know what your doing. I would recomend finding someone who would instal it for you if you have no idea how to instal one.

If you have no experience installing computer hardware, then I must wholeheartedly recommend to you that you have someone install it. If you do not know what you are doing, then it is quite possible to damage your card in the process of installing it.

Also, you will notice a huge difference between your old card and the new one. The new one has a much faster GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) and a faster system BUS (not to mention much more memory), so you will certainly see a difference in graphics. It is ultimately a decision that you have to make on your own -- if you play many graphics-intensive games, you will be happy with it. Otherwise, you might be best off saving your money for future upgrades.

Have you changed anything else in a PC? If you're comfortable with changing things then it shouldn't be too difficult and there are many people on this site who would be happy to talk you through it or point you to illustrated examples on the web (I've seen step by step photo instuctions somewhere, just need to find it again).

Cards tend to be the simplest things to change in PCs. It's adding memory or swapping processor chips that you have to be really careful with.
