Stuck on Santa!!!

We are stuck on Country Free For All...the one where your object of desire is an old car. We have collected four of the red pipes from the Santas but cannot defeat the last Santa who runs into an enclosed field with a fridge. We have tried every form of attack we know...super boost, Bwaaah, cannonball rabbid but nothing seems to work. There is also a water barrel we cannot find a use for(and we've tried throwing it at Santa too!!!). Can anyone give us a clue???

If this is the Santas with the pipes with the hick-ville shack and the old rust car you're supposed to retrieve...

Can't be too much help as I recall not having to do anything special to him. Just BWHAA!'d at him and he gave up the goods.

We did it in the end!!! Find the water barrel which is in the long grass over to the right of the "Santa Field" and use it to throw at him by flicking the Wii remote. If you are fairly accurate this should defeat him. HTH.
